Isolation testing

ipTEST has integrated an external instrument for voltage isolation testing on high power modules add full pack devices.

Capacitance measurement

ipTEST has integrated an external capacitance bridge for measuring oxide and junction capacitance. A self-calibration is performed on the first program execution to null any parasitic capacitance to the test contacts.

Gate resistance measurement

ipTEST has integrated an external gate resistance measurement unit which may be added to the test system at an additional test site

High pin count packages

For multi-pin packages a range of relay matrix boxes have been developed for testing discrete devices from SO8 through to SOIC, QFN and BGA packages.

Ambient temperature measurement

For small outline transistor (SOT) devices a test head including ambient temperature monitoring is available.

Power module tests

A range of high current and high voltage test generators (up to 2000 A and 5000 V) including dynamic switching and short circuit testing have been supplied.
